To be honest, I wish the 1st game had cool things like the Cloud Flower, Yoshi and the level timer. I still think it's better than SMG2 because of the storyline.
Yeah, the storyline was epic. It seemed like SMG2 was trying NOT to copy too much from the original game, but some parts it didn't really work out.
