The extra lives stuff. 300th forum post! Woo! There were a lot of 4th wall breaks in Super Paper Mario like that, and I just wanted to do something similar and I had fun writing it. Anyways, the movie will be updated every Monday and Thursday!

Sorry fans of "Darkness Shines", but I'm afrid I just don't feel like updating today. I'll still update every Monday and Thurday though, it's just this one time. Don't worry, I'll bring an extra-long part on Thursday with dialogue for the first time!

Part 4:
Mario, Toad, Peach, Luigi, and the Grandson continued on into the dark tunnels.
"Where are we going?" Luigi whined for the one-billionth time
"I told you, it's a secret!" The Grandson almost yelled.
"But why?" Toad asked. The Grandson just sighed and they all stopped talking.
-
Eventually, they saw a large pipe at the end of the tunnel.
"Anyone have any experience with pipes?" The Grandson asked. Mario, Toad, and Luigi each raised their hands. Peach gulped.
ONE HORRIBLE HOUR LATER
Finally, Peach had made it with the other down the pipe. The exit was on a ceiling, so they all fell hard to the ground.
"Mama Mia..." Mario moaned until he looked up and awe sturck his face. "Where- where are we?!" he exclaimed. They were in some kind of cavern, a giant hollow cave with a giant hole in the middle full of seawater. There also appeared to be something else in the water.
"What is that?" Luigi asked. The Grandson didn't answer, but instead grabbed a walkie-talkie from his shell and mumbled something into it. Suddenly, the top of a submarine appeared out of the water. The others gasped.
"Welcome!" A voice called out from the submarine, and Mario was taken aback* by how familiar the voice was. Just then, the very tip-top of the submarine opened and out came the Noki Elder!
"Noki Elder! It's you!" Mario sighed in relief. The old Noki jumped off the top and over the water to make a perfect landing onto the floor, as if he were 27 and not-- however old he was.
"What's going on?" questioned Peach. The smile disappeared off the Noki Elder's face. "Maybe you four should follow me and my grandson into here." Noki Elder pointed his fishing pole to the submarine. Without another word, they all entered.
-
In the submarine, Mario could not believe how spacious it was. The sub had to be five times bigger than it looked! Around the submarine were wierd electronic screens and maps of Isle Delfino and everywhere around it.
Most screens had a location of the island on live surveillance. Delfino Plaza, Bianco Hills, Sirena Beach, Pianta Village... everywhere but--
"Where's Ricco Harbor?" Mario asked, not taking his eyes off any of the screens.
"And where are we?" Luigi added in.
The Noki Elder looked down. "We're at Isle Delfino's Rebellion Base."
Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad all reacted at once.
"REBELLION??!!"
To Be Continued...

PREVIOUSLY ON DARKNESS SHINES
"What do you mean rebellion?!" Mario exclaimed, not believing what his ears had heard.
The Noki Elder still looked down.
"There is more to this island than you thought you knew, Mario." He mumbled after a minute of silence. "Follow me." He continued, and led them down into a small room completely empty.
"Can somebody please tell us what's going on?" Luigi pestered.
The Noki Elder ignored him and turned to Mario and Peach.
"There's something you should see." Noki Elder pressed a button on a remote-like object and another screen came down. The screen turned on, and they were suddenly viewing Ricco Harbor.
"Why-" Mario began to ask until he realized what they were viewing.
It was Channel 64 ( ;)) News, and a reporter just appeared. He announced that Ricco Harbor was under attack by unidentified creatures, and he had to report from the confines of a helicopter. He revealed that the entire Harbor had been evacuated and the Delfino Military was doing it's best to stop the creatures. The News changed to a different subject and reporter, but not before the gang got a quick eyefull of the creatures.
They appeared to be some sort of aquatic creatures, and were so blue, they almost blended in with the water. There also appeared to be tanks, soldiers, and submarines heading in, but the creatures moved too fast for them.
"What are those horrifying things?" Toad screamed, terrified. The Noki Elder grimaced. "Those are the government's"
If Mario was in disbelief before, this was something totally different. "What do you mean the government's?"
"Like I had said, there's more than you know." The Noki Elder opened the door and walked over a trange bookshelf covered by bullet-bill-proof glass.
"A long time ago, Isle Delfino was a real peaceful place. Then, there was a government uprising. The President of our land, President Chuck Ster, had enforced the army to do whatever they could to stop the uprising. Murders of thousands ensued. Many more captured." The Noki Elder revealed.
Nobody said anything.
The Noki Elder continued. "I was the head of the uprising. Well, not exactly the head. The Leaders were the Elder sages, the oldest and wisest of Delfino's inhabitants. I was the Noki Sage, and I was known as the Noki Elder. My two best friends were the other sages, the Pianta Elder and the Tanooki Elder."
"So what happened after that" Peach asked, daring for him to go on.
The Elder sighed. "The army finally won. It was a catastrophic battle on the sands of Gelato Beach, and after it, we had simply lost too many men-including the two other Elder Sages. We could not survive anymore, especially with most of our leaders gone. One night, President Chuck Ster pulled up in a private limo near our base. His men forced me in there, and the President said that the war should be stopped, and I immediately agreed. However, there was a catch. We could speak no word of the war, never put it in any History books, never whispered anywhere again. I still agreed. And with that, it was all over. But nothing was ever the same."
Mario shook his head, as if he couldn't accept what the Elder had said. "How come I've never heard of this president before? And still, what are those creatures?"
The Noki Elder sat down on an old stool. "The Story is just beginning Mario." He began. "Now the rest of it is..."
TO BE CONTINUED!
