I think I might have figured out part of Sunshine's level format, however, I need somebody who can test a custom one. So if anybody has Dolphin with a working copy of Sunshine, just respond here. Afraid not. I'm sure there's someone somewhere though, you could check a few places, like SMG2.5, for example.

Since I've coverted to book-format, I figured I'd rewrite the first few parts in the format before I work on DS2.
PROLOGUE
It was a starry, dark night at Ricco Harbor, the only area on all of Isle Delfino where ships could rest at peace. All of it's shops were closed and deserted for the night. The entire harbor was empty, except for the two Piantas chasing after each other.
"I'm gonna getcha!" One of the Piantas yelled. It might've sounded like a threat, but it was all playful. He was male, in his early 20s. He was chasing the other pianta, a female around his age, who was laughing hysterically, barely putting up a chase.
The male pianta growled and pounced up on her, and she fell to the ground, laughing. She finally stopped laughing, and the male said, "Tag you're it."
The female got up first and helped her boyfriend up.
"Oh Marty, you're so childish!" The female started to laugh again.
"But that's why you love me, right Penny?" Marty beamed. Penny Pianta rolled her eyes, and grabbed Marty's hand. "C'mon," Penny suggested. "I want to see the stars."
-
The two sat on the edge of the harbor, near the fruit machines. Penny sighed, and rested her head on Marty's shoulder. Marty smirked from out of her view, and reached into his pocket and grabbed out a small, velvet box. Perfect, Marty thought.
"Penny?" He asked, getting up.
"Yes?" His girlfriend asked. "W-will you be mine?" Marty kneeled on the ground, opening the box and showing the ring with a bedazzling gem atop of it.
Tears began to well up in Penny's eyes. It was beautiful! "Oh, Marty... of course I will!" She cried tears of joy as he put the ring on one of her two fingers on her left hand.
"Yes!" Marty whispered. This was the best night of his life. Nothing could ever go wrong with her by his side. So, of course, then everything went wrong.
Just then, down below near the blcoked off sewage entrance, bubbles formed in the water. Then they stopped.
"Did you-" Penny frowned, but then shook her head. "What?" Marty asked. "It's nothing." Penny answered, and they both sat down again, just to remember this moment: the stars, the proposal, and unknowing to either of them, their last moment together.
Finally, after what seemed like an hour or so, Marty and Penny stood up. "I'll drive you home." Marty offered, so they started walking down to the newly built tunnel driving through the island, allowing easy travel.
The, the sound of bubble ocurred, followed by a low-unhuman moan.
"Did you hear that?" Penny asked nervously.
"Let's hurry up." Marty suggested, and they started to walk faster to his car, when they heard the sound of something erupting from the water. Marty whispered into Penny's ear.
"Run."
Before they made it to the car, something wrappen around Penny and held her down. "MARTY!" She screamed. Marty looked at what was going on, and ran toward the fallen Penny.
Marty ran over to her, but whatever was holding onto her just pulled her backwards, toward the water.
"PENNY!" He yelled at his fiance, now running faster. What was grabbing her? There was nothing grabbing her. She was being assaulted by some invisible force.
Marty yelled again, but before Penny could as well, she was pulled underwater. Marty caught up to the edge of the harbor, where the vast ocean was. No sign of Penny. She had... vanished? The only remaining sound was of bubbles in the distance, which soon stopped.
Marty knelt at the edge, looking at his reflection in the water, his tears falling into them.
Finally, the police arrived that morning, hearing complaints about the yelling, and found Marty lying at the edge, unconscious.
'What happened here?" The police chief muttered. While they were checking Marty, no one looked over in the water near the tunnel, where a ring floated on the water's surface.
It was Penny's.

While experimenting with AR, I end up finding something that had nothing to do with it!
I was bored and decided to zoom in to the mirrors in Gelato Beach, and I did notice a few wierd things:
First of all, all Palm Trees, any type, are all gone. Everywhere on the beach, and even on that faraway island.
Then, there's this weird white line running through the sky. Look up, there's nothing there.
Also, the trail on the hills that lead to the ampitheather (sp?) amphitheatre is replaced with some sort of cavern.

Tah-dah! I'm going to be nice, and reveal the first part of the sequel to my hit movie "Darkness Shines" right now!
*At Princess Peach's Castle*
Toadsworth sat on his usual, boring, old throne chair in Princess Peach's Castle. Being the oldest and wisest of all in the Mushroom Kingdom, he was always the one who knew what to do, the one who knew everything, the one who had seen everything. So should he be in fear at that moment?
Actually, yes. A drip of sweat rolled down Toadsworth's head.
Why has the Princess not returned? Toadsworth was rambling through his thoughts. Why has she not contacted me in weeks? Strolling Stus seemed to be flying around in his stomach, as he reached a level of nervousness he had not experienced before.
Yes, Peach had been close to danger for always, thanks to that pesky Bowser, but Mario always saved her. Was he still keeping her safe at that moment?
"Ohhhh..." Toadsworth moaned.
Just then, the Toad Brigade captain ran inside, hollaring and holding some type of scroll.
Toadsworth quickly regained his regular, ravished personality. "What is it, Toad?" He asked, trying to sound like he was impatient.
The captain gasped for breath, and held up the scroll. "For you, sir. They said it's a life-or-death matter!" Toadsworth swiped the scroll, adjusted his glasses, and read it. The farther down he read, the more pale he turned. When he finished it, he looked almost like a ghost.
"S-sir?" Toad asked.
"Oh dear..." muttered Toadsworth, falling to the ground.
"OH GOD, HE'S HAVING A HEART ATTACK!" Toad yelled aloud. Soon, many townsfolk and several medics and guards rushed in.
The Medics put Toadsworth on a stretcher, and before carrying him out, Toadsworth called the Toad over.
"Yes, sir?" Toad asked nervously. Toadsworth's eyes were crunched shut, sputtering out something. Toad listened as carefully as he could.
"Island. Isle Delfino. Conspiracy. Take your brigade and head there. NOW!" He gasped out.
The Toad Brigade Captain nodded and rushed down the halls, to find his brigade. They had a new mission.
Suspenseful, huh?

Alright, this part is special. Read all the way through before you ask why.
Mario opened his eyes to find himself strapped to a cold, steel chair, in a front of a long desk. He was in some kind of room that had no windows, and not even a door. At least, as far as Mario could see. The room was pretty dim, so everything visible had a dark-gray tint to it.
The lights turned on, and Mario kept his eyes shut tight until a few second later. The Room was the same, and for sure, no door was visible.
"Hello?!" He yelled out, but nobody could hear him. The room was probably soundproof. Mario tried to remember what happened last. He was captured by the President, taken to his underground chambers, and knocked out. Mario tried to escape, but his arms and legs were knotted tight.
A door opened behind Mario, and he could hear footsteps.
"Well, well, well, who do we have hear?" A voice called out. The voice sounded familiar to Mario, but he couldn't think straight enough to remember much else yet.
"I should have known our bomb blowing up your submarine wouldn't work." The voice cursed. "I should've taken my chances and killed you myself. But no, President Ster had forbidden it. I guess he wanted to play around with you a little before he executed you."
Mario tried to take this all in.
"But now, it's time." The footsteps got closer, and the source of the voice walked out from behind the chair to the other end of the table. Mario gasped.
"Y-you!" Mario screamed in terror. "H-how could you do this? To me? To Luigi, Peach, and Toad? To everyone?!" His eye's began to well up in tears. This had to be a hallucination! Maybe he was deprived of oxygen or something- this couldn't be real! But deep down, he knew it was. He quietly whispered, "To your own grandfather?"
"Oh, it was quite fun. And now, the President would like to see you personally." The Noki Grandson said. He smiled the entire time he talked.
-
Peach, Luigi, and Toad all stood with red eyes and utterly no confidence in front of the entire tribe in the underground lab, armed with dangerous weapons and dressed in Military suits. Penelope and Scotty walked in, Scotty looking oddly normal, while Penleope was in a grayish uniform, with a hat covering her wild hairstyle.
"Tonight, it ends!" Her voice boomed powerfully , but there was a trace of something else in her voice. A deep, deep sadness. "We have lost too many men to the president." She continued on. "The Elders, including the Noki Elder. Many brave men who fought for their freedom. And-" Her voice cracked, but she cleared her throat and went on. "-Mario." She looked directly at Peach, but Peach did not return her gaze.
"But, tonight, we shall win! Map, or no map, we have no choice but to go in and fight for the final time. Defeat the President, and if he still lives, Mario as well!" Everyone cheered loudly, especially Peach, Luigi, and Toad. And with that, they all stepped onto a giant elevator-like shaft that lifted them up to ground-level.
In front of them stood a large array of different colored Yoshis. But these didn't llok like normal Yoshis. These were determined, angry and prepared for a battle. Peach mounted her Yoshi, and Luigi and Toad looked at her.
"Are you ready?" Toad asked.
Peach nodded, but didn't reply. She didn't need to. Luigi and Toad mounted their Yoshi's along with the rest of the tribe. Scotty, in the distance, blew on a horn. "LET'S GO!" Penelope yelled, and they all took off. We're going to get Mario back., Peach thought. We're coming, Mario!
And they entered the woods. The point of no return.
TO BE CONTINUED... IN LATE-OCTOBER!
That's right, the movie's over! As you could tell by how rarely I was updating, I was getting no time to do it, so I just decided to end the movie now and take a break!
Now you may be thinking 'BUT SUNSHINEFOREVER, HOW CAN YOU END IT WHEN IT JUST GOT GOOD??????!!!!!!!!!!' Well, don't worry. In late-October, possible early-November, I will continue writing... on the movie's sequel! It will continue on where we left off! But for now, I really just needed a vacation. (But not from the forums, don't worry about that!)
Coming Soon: Darkness Shines 2 (Title not official)

The next day, Mario sat on an empty crate in some sort of underground labratory, right underneath the tribe's camp. Penelope had ordered him to sit there until further notice, so there he was, sitting all alone. Just then, a large metal door opened and Penelope, Peach, Luigi, Toad, and a Noki that Mario didn't recognize.
Penelope turned to the Noki. "Scotty, have you brought the bottle?" The Noki, Scotty, nodded and pulled it out from his shell. Mario wondered what else Nokis could hide in their shells. Scotty walked up to Mario.
"Alright, Mister Mario, are you ready?" He asked in a timid, quiet voice. Mario nodded, and stood up. He was wearing his old diving helmet, and a water jetpack. Mario didn't really like it, as it reminded him too much of FLUDD, who had malfunctioned beyond repair many months ago.
Mario took a deep breath. "So I go in, get the bottle and come out?" "Yes." Penelope answered. Mario looked inside. "That's really it?" Mario cautiously asked. It seemed just... too easy. Penelope replied the same as before; "Yes."
Mario walked over and gave Peach a long hug, and she hugged back. Luigi walked over and tapped his brother on the shoulder. Peach and Mario immediately broke up, blushing like mad. Luigi handed Mario a device, and Mario took a close look at it.
"That's right," Luigi confirmed, "It's Gameboy Horror. Professor E. Gadd gave me a few to use after clearing that old mansion. It's water-proof, so we can stay in contact." Mario nodded, and then hugged his brother.
"We'll get that nasty old President, won't we bro?" Luigi asked. Mario nodded, blinked to hold back tears, and looked at the bottle.
"Confirming launch into, ahem, bottle of water in... 3... 2..." Scotty count down. Mario caught one last glimpse at his friends, then turned back to the bottle. "One!" yelled Scotty. Mario jumped into the bottle.
-
The whole jumping-into-a-bottle-of-water-and-shrinking thing might have been a tad odd. If you hadn't grown up in the Mushroom Kingdom, of course. Mario always did like visiting and revisiting the bottle. Everything about it seemed so calm, so serene. Those who stayed at Sirena Beach might've disagreed, but Mario thought this was the most breathtaking place around.
However... something seemed off. the place was no different that Mario's last visit years ago. Cheep-Cheeps and other types of fish swam around, the current and so many coins were still there. At the very bottom, was a building that contained a book that contained the secret to the President's safehouse. The words Too Easy flashed inside Mario's head again.
The jingle of a Gameboy Horror broke his thoughts. "Bro? BRO! Can you hear me, bro?" Luigi's voice exclaimed through the cross-transceiver (I spelled that wrong, didn't I?) Mario picked up the call. "I'm here, Luigi." Mario said into the microphone.
"Is everything okay in there?" Luigi asked. "Yeah, everything's fine." Mario replied. Penelope's voice came up. "Mario, when you reach the bottom search around the structure for a door. Inside there is the book."
THAT'S IT???!!! Mario almost screamed, but kept it sealed in his thoughts. This absolutely, 100% confirmed Mario's suspicions. "Mario? Are you still there?" Mario realized he'd gotten lost in his thoughts. "Yeah."
Finally, he sank all the way to the bottom, and used the jetpack to get a better look around. He saw two opening on the west side, and swam over to the opening. Inside each, was a hallway. One leading to nowhere, and one leading to... Yes, a door! Mario immediately swam over into it, and opened the door. It was so rusty, it fell right off the hinges. And inside... was nothing.
"Penelope?" Mario asked, slightly spooked. "Where's the book?" Somehow, Mario sensed Penelope frowning from outside the bottle. "What do you mean, 'Where's the book'?" She asked. Mario replied. "Well, I'm looking inside and- hello? Hello?" The connection had gone out. Sensing danger, Mario swam out as fast as he could... And outside, he found himself surrounded completely by Torpedo Teds.
"Bravo, bravo." Mario had a cackling laugh and clapping... but from where?" The Gameboy Horror, he realized. He looked at the screen, and sure enough, the signal was taken over by a Grey, rosey red-suited Pianta. "Who- who are you?" Mario asked. "Isn't it obvious?" The Pianta asked. He sounded centuries old, but didn't look a day over 25.
"I'm President Charles Cornelious Ster." The Pianta purred, which sounded awful in his voice."Now please surrender, or these Torpedo Teds could blow you to bits and kill you, which would save me the trouble of having to do it myself."
