An idea that's more realistic that I'm going to pursue is changing the icons on the boards and threads. They're pretty... boring, you know?

It's supposed to be a "Mario version" of the phrase "Having butterflies in my stomach", or just nervousness. All of this you probably already know.

Mario and Penelope walked back to the tribe in silence. Once they reached the tent again, the silence was broken.
"Sooo... we're right next to them?" Mario asked nervously. She nodded. Mario couldn't help put feel like there were Paragoombas flying in his stomach.
"So, what are we going to do?" Mario asked.
"Easy." Penelope answered, "We make the first strike."
-
As everyone came into the large tent, Peach looked nervously at Mario, but he looked away. Everyone, Mario, Peach, Toad, Luigi, Penelope, and the entire tribe sat in a large circle somehow fitting in the tent.
"This is suspiciously... a large tent." Luigi noted. Toad rolled his eyes. Penelope cleared her throat and stood up, and gestured at Mario to do the same.
She spoke up. "My fellow Piantas, Nokis, Humans, and Toad, the time for battle grows near. Things have become grim for Isle Delfino." She threw what appeared to be a golden-disk onto the center of the floor. Suddenly, the disk became somewhat larger, and suddenly shot a holograph of Isle Delfino into the air.
Nobody could believe what they saw. Ricco Harbor was in flames and people were running around, falling into the water, others limping or slowly dying. And that wasn't the worst part: All over the island, explosions were occuring, massacres were beginning. The entire island was in chaos.
The projection seemed to be showing a newscast. The reporter faintly covered the story in the background. "The Island appears to be going into total destruction. Evacuations have been attempted, but all plane flights have been cancelled. It appears, we're... stuck." The reporter choked out the last word.
Everybody sighed in sadness. The Holograph disappeared, and Penelope resumed talking. "The only way to reach the President is by entering his Safehouse. Where he controls and oversees everything. We need to head into the only entrance we have a chance at. The Backdoor."
Luigi spoke up. "But how? There's probably a gigantic army guarding it!"
"We have an army of our own." Penelope replied. Mario looked around. The Tribe wasn't even 30 members, much less an army. But they were the best they could get.
Penelope threw a different disk onto the ground, and this holograph showed what appeared to be a labyrinth under the entire building.
"This," she said, "Is the Maze of Death. Under the President's building is a labyrinth that goes down 30 floors underground. The maze is full of dead ends, death traps, and tricks. But somewhere, is the Golden Door, which leads to the President's chambers. This maze is the reason we never got close to winning in the war. But not this time." She turned to Mario.
"But how are we going to do it?" Toad piped up.
"There's only one way." Penelope said. "Mario, do you remeber the old bottle the Noki Elder once took you inside?" Mario nodded. "Well, on the floor of the bottle is a building. Somewhere inside it, is a book. Nobody knows who wrote it, but it's said to contain the guide to the entire maze. If we wish to success in this mission, we need to get the book. And Mario, you are going to get it for us."

No, there's a move in Legend of Zelda known as the "sidle" or something like that where you hug the wall and move across the wall where keeping your hands on it.

First of all, did I spell that right? Is that even a word?
But anyway, I was just playing round today and I came up to a wall, and when Mario normally comes up to a wall, he acts as if he's pushing up against it. However, if you sort of move a bit away and tmove slowly to the left or to the right, Mario does a wall-sidle move. I don't remember that ever being needed to be used in-game or ever mentioned. Can someone check?

Well, I'm out of school now thanks to an Early Dismissal Day, so I guess I'll get the new part up soon.
Soon, as in, right now. The Tribe member walked Mario over to a large, fancy tent (as fancy as a tent could be, anyway), and left him standing in front of it. Mario hesitated, and entered. The Safari Pianta was sitting on a chair made completely of old tree branch.
"Hello, Mario. I've expecting you."
-
Mario had to resist as hard as he could to ask a million questions at once. Why did you let us live? Who are you? What do you mean, You expected me? Mario got a headache. The Pianta noticed and pointed him to a similar chair in front of her, and Mario sat down.
"My name is Penelope Simmons." The Pianta answered. Penelope took off her hat and brushed some sweat off her head. "You probably have a lot of questions." Mario nodded, and Penelope sighed.
"Well, I should probably tell you: I'm a girl who likes adventure. So, I became an archeologist, and I hunted through the vast jungles of Isle Granchio, which is italian for crab, the shape this island is." Penelope said.
"But why did the tunnel from the Rebellion Base come here?" Mario asked, and suddenly realized he had said too much. Yet Penelope didn't look surprised. "I know why. Because, I'm part of the rebellion." Mario could no longer hold his questions in. "But how? This isn't even part of Isle Delfino!"
"Well, long ago, I once fought in the war, you see. I fought along side the Elders, usually with the Noki Elder. He was charming and brave... and handsome..." Mario gagged as Penelope suddenly got lost in her thoughts. When she realized what she was doing, she stopped and blushed. Mario wondered if it was from embarrasment, or from thinking of the Noki Elder. Mario gagged again.
"Anyway, when the war was finished, me and many other warriors went into exile and hid away. Some of us, like me, left the island entirely. However, things have started up again. With those mutations unleashed, that's the last straw. War will begin soon, but we're both waiting for the other side to strike first."
"So... why did the tunnel lead us here?" Mario asked, Penelope got up. "Follow me, Mario."
-
Later, after taking almost an hour-long hike through the jungle, Penelope stopped and Mario caught up. "So, what are we looking at-" Mario stopped. In front of them was large clearing, and what sat in it looked nothing like the jungle around it: It was a large futuristic area with several old-looking towers and monuments and several new ones. In the very middle at the far-north side of the clearing sat a large building with a golden dome on top with barely any windows.
"Where are we?" Mario asked, bewildered. Penelope shook her head. "This is where all of Isle Delfino's shadow government resides. It's been here as long as anyone can remember, hidden by this jungle." Mario looked down at the Building with the large-golden dome on top. Meanwhile, Penelope went on. "This is where President Chuck Ster is."
Mario squinted and tried to look inside one of the few windows of the bulding. This is where President Chuck Ster is, she just said. In one of the windows, Mario saw the sillouette of a Pianta. It's could've been the President himself. Mario wasn't 100% sure, but he knew it after looking for a few minutes. The sillouette was looking straight at them.
Sorry for any grammar or spelling issues on this! I typed it pretty fast and tried to go back to get all the mistakes I could find!

MOAR: Some textures are a bit blurry, and the FLUDD nozzle icon sill appears even though Mario is riding Yoshi. Notice the portal to Bianco Hills is closed, even though the sun is fully shining. Also, the open window has no curtains.
