No, it's fine.
Anyway, here's the level:
Scuro Valley (translates to Dark Valley)
A somewhat long level made of a dusty, dirty, and abandoned valley full of dead trees, Pokeys, and a few Stackin' Stus and some empty caves. Towards the end are three old pyramids, two almost completely destroyed and a third in the middle still standing. There is also a labyrinth of underground tunnels below, full of new scorpion-like enemies. Luckily, the tunnels provide excellent travel for going from one area to another. Also, to the far right, is an almost completely dried up river. To add to the theme, their is also occasional thunder and lightning, and the music is very low, so the player will mostly hear only the wind blowing.
Just wanted to create a creepy, intense level.
My next level will not take place on the island- but above it!

Well, here goes nothing:
PREVIOUSLY, ON DARKNESS SHINES
Finally, it was Toad who looked up and smiled for the first time in days. "Look! Up there!" The other looked and saw they had reached the end of the tunnel and at the end was a rusty ladder with a tight, manhole-like cover.
Luigi climbed up, followed, by Toad, Peach, and Mario. "I got it!" He yelled, and finally moved the cover off the exit. They climbed up and found themselves in the middle of a vast jungle.
"Great! Now what?!" Luigi yelled. Then, they were quickly circle by Piantas and Nokis covered in some sort of Indian clothes and wearing Indian Masks. Oh, and they were all pointing spears toward them.
Mario, Peach, Luigi, and Toad all screamed.
NOW, WE RETURN:
Luigi fainted. Later, Mario, Peach, Toad, and the unconscious Luigi were tied to a thick pole hanging above a large firepit with the tribe in a circle-formation around the pit chanting something and dancing.
Peach squeaked "Is this how it ends?" Mario looked down and gulped. "I think so, Princess." He replied in sadness. Toad didn't even try to talk. He felt that this was all his fault: he was the one who saw the entrance and led them straight into danger.
As the tribe chanted, Mario looked down. Creepy shapes seem to loom from the fire, and he didn't like that one bit.
Just then, a middle-aged female pianta in a Safari suit walked through the crowd. She took a glance at them, and then put her hand up. The tribe stopped. She spoke in perfect english: "Let them down."
-
After the strange pianta allowed them to come down and saved them from death, the gang were treated like gods and goddesses. The tribe doctors helped them heal their wounds, fed them, and bathed them.
When Luigi finally regained consiousness, he found himself lying on cold, hard dirt in a roomy tent. He looked around, wondering where he was, when Mario, Peach, and Toad entered the tent, followed by a tribe member.
Luigi almost screamed and fainted again, but Mario informed him of what happened. Luigi felt his forehead and felt a bandage where his concussion was. He almost started to cry (tears of joy, of course), when the tribe member spoke up in a large, booming voice.
"Mario, follow me. Our leader wishes to talk to you."
Who is this mysterious pianta? Why did she let them go? How will they reach the President now? Find out, next time!

Should we have a "Poll of the Day" board? I have some good ideas for weekly polls, but I don't know if we have enough active members yet. It's only me, UltimoPianta, and Zommy. Lemm isn't coming anymore (or at least signing in) and HRE never comes to here or SMG2.5 anymore.

I just wrote a new part of Darkness Shines, and for some reason, my computer can't load the page when I hit the post button, so I just lost all my work. And it only happens on this thread.

Interesting on the invisible paths. I think the sign thing was just meant to be something generic since it's in the background. I just hope you won't try to turn it into the next "L is Real". As for the beta Toad, there was probably supposed to be part of some other plot point (something about Peach being taken across some river), but got cut out, and somehow the Toad that was supposed to tell Mario about said plot point got left in the data. WARNING: Slightly off-topic alert! Also, that beta dialogue does not make no sense whatsoever. THIS beta dialogue (from another game) makes no sense whatsoever: NOTE: I don't mind if this off-topic blurb gets edited out.The next L is Real? I wasn't thinking about that, but... I WILL!

Yeah, I'll just give up. I don't really see why changing those would ever do something anyway.

Don't see any of the avatar images. Maybe you can't edit them?

I don't see "Customize Images". Are you sure that's it?

Just random, small Mario or Nintendo pictures. Also, I can't find the area where you can change them. I KNOW I've found it before... but it's disappeared now.

Wow, that's awesome! But yeah, it does sound a bit wierd at the beginning.
Also, as a quick fun fact, did anyone know that almost ALL the music in the game is a remix of Delfino Plaza?

If I can learn how, I might edit some of the default avatars with Sunshine and other Mario pictures.

Part... whatever part this is.
Only putting up the "Viewer Discretion is Advised" thing if it's needed. For now, it isn't.
Mario and the others walked in the dark entrance, only a small, dim lantern lit up came around every half a mile or so. Mario tried to strike up a conversation. "Luigi, you really shouldn't be walking with that concussion-" He started, but Luigi replied flatly "Says the guy who's limping alone on a broken ankle." Mario didn't try again.
He had never heard his brother sound so hostile, but this was war. And war changed everything.
An hour or two passed, and they were all starting to get tired. They wondered if they would simply die in these tunnels and be forgotten.
NEXT TIME ON DARKNESS SHINES:
Luigi fainted.
COMING SOON!

Cool! (GET IT? HAR HAR!) Anyway, that level sounds awesome! I always wanted to expand on those icecubes you found in the secret levels and Delfino Airstrip, and that sounds like a great place to do it!
Maybe there could be a level where you traveled inside to the core of the mountain and there was a maze of those ice cubes and below was the freezing water that hurts you from SM64 and SMG. And maybe some of those Piranha Plant enemies that spawn from goop would be blocking some of the entrances so you NEED to spray water... UltimoPianta! Your level could have so much potential!
Meanwhile, I have another idea: A dry, dry valley that is completely empty and at the end of it is an ancient, abandoned pyramid and a few temples nearby. I'll get to work on it soon!
